# Browse by Project

Find extension packages, configuration entry points, and topic guides by their externals source projects.

If you know the project name or are ready to deploy a package, go directly to its project page. [Extension Plugins](/documentation/en/framework/externals.md) organizes the same capabilities by need: caching, scripting, scheduling, spreadsheets, cloud services, and device integration. Each project page collects an implementation’s deployment requirements and limitations and links to its full usage guide.

## Project Index

The following includes 14 external extension projects; Web, Gateway, and optional storage artifacts in the same directory are classified in the corresponding projects.

## Combine the Topic and Project Guides

If the task is "Export business records", start by comparing ClosedXml with OpenXml from the spreadsheet topic; if ClosedXml has been selected, check the package, service matching and spreadsheet naming from the project page, and then jump to the export/import example.

💡 Source directories, primary NuGet packages, and runtime capabilities do not have a one-to-one correspondence. A project may also have independent Web/Gateway packages, or may rely on native libraries or external services; select deployment artifacts according to the actual roles listed on the project page.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.zongsoft.com/documentation/en/framework/externals/projects.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
